Click on the listing below to learn the names of makers whose squares will make up each stack, their home state,
and when we get their squares, photos of their work.
As of September 18, 2021, 2,290 makers had signed up and pledged to make 17,217 squares.
After all the squares were collected, we ended the project with approx. 2000 makers who submitted approx. 13,500 squares
This allowed for 24-25 squares for every member of Congress.

Violet Protest Squares of the Week
Each week as packages of squares were opened, one square emerged as the Violet Protest Square of the Week - often responding to the ever-changing current events of our turbulent times. These squares were promoted on Instagram, Facebook and on Ravelry every week.
